PROJECT SCOPE
Interior Design – Selection of materials and finishes, kitchen design and planning.
Interior Decoration – Furniture selection, artwork placement, reupholstery of existing dining chairs, lighting, rugs and soft furnishings.
From our very first meeting, my client embraced the idea of celebrating the retro character of her home rather than stripping it away. I worked alongside her throughout a major renovation and extension, transforming the kitchen, living, dining, laundry and bathroom into a home that better suits the way her family lives today.
We created a functional kitchen and open plan living area, carefully considering storage, flow and everyday practicality while retaining plenty of personality.
Once the building work was complete, we layered in the finishing touches that made her house feel like home. Together we selected statement pendant lights, colourful splashback tiles, coordinated rugs and cushions, and gave her much loved 1970s second hand dining chairs a new lease on life with fresh upholstery.
The end result is a colourful retro inspired home full of warmth, character and playful personality. It celebrates the home's original era while feeling fresh, functional and perfectly tailored to this family's lifestyle.
