Lysterfield Teen Retreat

PROJECT SCOPE

Interior Design - Bathroom Design & Walk through robe design

Interior Decoration - Selection of furniture, lighting, paint, flooring & soft furnishings, layout of rooms

My client wished to create a teenage retreat / bedroom for her daughter. There were 2 bedrooms side by side, so the idea was to open up the 2 rooms, divide them in the middle by a walk through robe.

At one end of the open rooms would be the bedroom and the other open end would be a retreat space for this teenager to hang out with her friends.

I collaborated with my colleague Susan Wasley, who designed the walk through robe and layout.

The main bathroom also required an update, removing the bath and installing an oversized walk in shower with plenty of storage in the vanity and tall boy.

Designed by Green Room Interiors.

The brief called for a glamorous look complete with diamontes, chandelier, wall sconces and lots of grey & white.

Only a touch of pink was requested, just to add a little bit of colour.

The overall result is sophisticated bling with a refined colour palette.

I think you’ll agree these renovated spaces are fit for a teenage girl and will serve her well into adulthood!
